Overview
Foundation works for a residential building: cement-block foundation walls, ground-beam formwork and steel starter bars.
The substructure of a residential building — the part nobody sees once the house is finished, and the part that matters most.
The foundation walls are built in cement blocks on concrete footings. Formwork is in place for the reinforced-concrete ground beams that tie the walls together, and steel starter bars mark where the columns will rise.
