Overview
A multi-storey concrete frame on V-shaped diagonal columns, which carry the slabs and brace the building at the same time.
A multi-storey frame where the columns are set on the diagonal, in V shapes around the edge of each floor.
The diagonal columns carry the slabs and also brace the building against sideways forces, so fewer internal walls are needed and the floors can stay open.
